Instructions for After a Treatment Appointment Involving Minor Surgery (link under construction)

After completely a lengthy appointment with some form of sedation, you may need help with comfort after the anesthesia wears off.  Soreness can linger two to five days after treatment.  You may use your own pain medications to manage soreness.  We often prescribe analgesics as needed.


Instructions for Managing Soft Tissue Surgical Reactions (link under construction)

For swelling or bleeding of gums or other oral soft tissue, antibiotics or analgesic management may be recommended.  Your dental team will discuss this and expected tissue changes and healing times with you.


Instructions for Interim and Post-Occlusion Treatment Appointments (link under construction)

The dental team performing your treatments will discuss expected occlusal changes, tenderness, TMD, muscle control management, and if needed, the use of a bite guard.
